What areas could I explore in an ytical essay concerning the Underworld in Virgil's "Aeneid"?

I need to write a few thousand words (please consider this) worth of an ytical essay about the Aeneid. I am at the liberty to decide on any topic I find stimulating and I want to focus on Virgil's vision of the Underworld, but I haven't formulated the precise research question yet. Frankly, I would prefer to make it more original than a comparison of Homer's, Virgil's and Dante's presentation of hell and explore something people have not yet written about. I would be extremely grateful for any suggestions concerning the possible research questions or areas to explore in this subject.
