How well can we trust Universal Technical Institute?

I have hired several UTI graduates and interviewed many more. My son also went to UTI and found a great job at a dealer. UTI is a basic mechanical education. Think of it as a doctor that graduates medical school he will still have to received specialized training and complete an internship before you want him doing surgery on you. What happens to some shops is they hire a UTI graduate and expect to be hiring a master mechanic and perform like a tech with 10 years experience then pay him entry level wages. When that does not work out they blame the student. Then they use this as an excuse not to hire others. There are plenty of shops that will hire UTI graduates and active students.
