Is there a way to convert a MS-DOS program to something that will run on newer computers?

At work we use a program that someone write for us using MS-DOS. We are looking into changing it to something more current so we can use new computers. The program was written about 15 years ago. I was hoping there would be a some what easy way to redue it without having to rewrite the whole program. Any help would be great. If I have to rewrite it, what is a good program to use?
