Migraine symptoms, remedy and prevention?

what are the symptoms of migraine and remedy? Last night i had the worse pain, i normally get it when im under a lot of stress. I had chest, neck, head pain, also the light it was keeling me. The last time i had the same symptoms was a Years ago and went to the hospital nad got a shot in my behind. I look trough my cabinet and find this old medicine (Butalbital) that the hospital gave five yrs ago. I know it was old but i was in so much pain, i did help but what now im scare to get again.
