Am i likely to have damaged my skin through limited sunbed use?

In answer to your question-yes, even limited amounts of tanning in beds can cause permanent damage to your skin. If you've developed wrinkles around you're eyes, they will no go away with time (side note; how is your vision? If you squint a lot, that could have contributed to your wrinkles, also). I used to tan a lot when I was younger (I'm 26 now) and now I regret every second of it. I love the way it looked, but I hate to think that I might look like a leather suitcase when I'm 50. Make sure you use tons of lotion daily on your face and body; it won't undo the damage, but well hydrated skin is usually plumper than dry skin which makes wrinkles not appear as deep. As for the self tanner, I use neutrogena on my face and body, and I really like the way it looks. Good for you for recognizing that tanning is potentially ruining your skin-you're one step ahead of a lot of people!
